Nimal was a RIO supergroup consisting of Tom Cora from Skeleton Crew & Curlew; Pippin Barnett from Orthotonics, No Safety, & Curlew; Jean-20 Huguenin from Mèbile Menthol; Shirley Hoffman-Wolz from Swiss band L'ensamble Rayè; Slovenian artist Bratko Bibic from Swiss band Begnagrad, among others. They lasted five years, from 1987 to 1992, releasing three albums in the process.
