Amel Larrieux (born March 8, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter and keyboardist who rose to fame in the mid-90s as a founding member of the duo a Groove Theory along with Bryce Wilson. After departing from the group in 1999, she released her solo debut album Infinite Possibilities early the next year on Epic. Since late 2003 she has released five more records on her independent label Blisslife Records. Her sound is a combination of R&B, soul, jazz and world music flavors.
