I agree there's too many slow tracks on this, album kinda loses steam at the end. The highlights though are as good as anything they've ever done though, I'm really enjoying it.

The amount of folk influence here is surprising, but it shows her as a very well rounded artist if not quite as consistent as on Fake It Flowers.

Great review, Fake it Flowers had a little more in the line of punchy Smashing Pumpkins style riffs than this does. Definitely feels a little watered down. Still an enjoyable record to play away in the background in the Kitchen.
